XI has posted a bunch of photos from the distant past of North American soccer so far on this Tumblr, but the magazine also aims to explore the present and future of the sport on this continent. This shot posted just now by the Houston Dynamo of the installation of greenery at the brand spankin’ new and very fine-looking BBVA Compass Stadium illustrates a part of that future very nicely.
